Customer Service    

November 12th  from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Cost: $49

This interactive virtual workshop is applicable to all staff and focuses on basic customer service skills for both internal and external customers.  Maintaining positive customer relationships, both in the office and in the field, is the cornerstone of a successful organization.  Upon completion, participants will learn to: 

  • Clarify customer service philosophy, goals and expectations

  • Recognize who are the customers you serve

  • Learn and practice communication skills

  • Handle difficult customers


September 22nd  from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Cost: $49

This interactive virtual workshop is geared towards all staff and focuses on real life ethical dilemmas. 

The purpose of ethics training is to help participants judge the honest legitimacy of their decisions, enabling

them to apply moral principles and values in their daily actions and choices on-the-job.

Upon completion, participants will learn to: 

  • Define ethics

  • Learn the benefits of an ethical work environment

  • Avoid conflicts of interest

  • Understand the importance of confidentiality

  • Work with contractors and consultants appropriately

Managing Job Performance

October 28th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Cost: $49

This interactive virtual workshop is relevant for team leaders, supervisors, managers and anyone aspiring for a leadership role.  Gaining knowledge and skills to effectively lead people and manage the day-to-day operations is necessary for success.  Upon completion, participants will learn to: 

  • Identify differences between a leader and a manager

  • Explore successful methods to delegate

  • Track and document performance

  • Handle performance issues effectively and confidently


Training approved for 2 CPEs for MDE non-process training and DPOR Utility Management training.  Certificate will be sent a week or so after the training.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  A refund, less $10 administration fee, will be given if Starfish Consulting is notified at least 7 days prior to the date of the class.  No refunds will be given for cancellations with less than 7 days notice, substitutions, however, are permitted.
